#3, Ah, they bare no resemblance to any Toyota past or present - nice definition of "stock".
Thanks.
Why don't more street rodders run NASCAR spec motors in their cars? Prohibitive expense or is it a driveability/reliability issue?

#4, Contrary to what popular culture makes you believe, true performance parts are mind numbingly expensive and wear very fast. For (a rally world) example, a proper Evo dog gearbox can cost as much as two stock cars and it needs to be taken apart after each event. And this is group N.
And the pile of used up parts a WRC car leaves after each event is scary. |

#9, And continuing the theme: a top spec group N Evo 9 build up cost around 300k USD, this was before the advent of 'big brakes' (basically a WRC-style floating brake assembly), bigger wheels, etc. Every rally it ate up around 30k. |
