glad I'm not in Australia! here you can buy a used Viper with desent milage for around $40K I might come up with $40K one day but $500K is far far out of reach!

The lowest of the range model converted cost about $110k used. So its not that bad. But over here the only point of one is for the looks etc. As now the HSV GTS coupe kicks hell out of it.

this HSV must be God! even in the Slowest for Vipers run 13.1s and that's the very first production year of the car. it has since been refined and even the roadster verson of the car runs mid 12s

Viper handle pretty well too.. one of the fastest cars in the Atlanta region of the SCCA is a Viper... but the CHampion is a 99 Camaro :-)

considering the car pulls the same or better numbers than cars that cost almost a hundred grand more its not bad, but I think the Commodore would be a great car to have in the US right now! greta sleeper potental and much easier to get parts for and work on I'm sure

These things look nice without spoilers. Even the stock Supra wing spoils them.

#20, Yes, they are. They're rare in the US but not non-existent -- I met a guy once who claimed to own one, a guy I have no particular reason to believe was lying to me. It wasn't a new one, though, it was from the late 60's/early 70's.

He was planning to sell it, though, because... well, because it was a late-60's British sports car. Big pain in the ass to keep running.

I saw about 7 of these a couple weeks ago. All in one day, too. Also saw a few 300ZXs.. struck me as odd to see so many.
