Mmmm...nice, I believe I've only seen one Evo IX irl, it was a red one at a Mitsu dealership a couple years back. |

I've seen a ton of Evos...the Mitsubishi dealer always has at least five on the lot. Probably 80% of the ones I see are black, for some reason.
On the other hand, I hardly ever see Subarus of any kind here (I think there's only one Subaru dealership in the state), and I'm not sure I've EVER seen a WRX in person. Someone in town does have a regular 2 door mid '90s Impreza, though. |

Well Mitsubishi's in general are rare around here, the one local dealership I know of only really supplies Gallants and Outlanders, and he merged with a Hyundai dealership across the street about a year ago. I don't see many newer Eclipses or Lancers either. I know of one silver Evo VIII that's a couple blocks away from me, and that, along with a red VIII, are the only ones that comes to mind when I think about how many Evo's I've seen in the past year. "Tuners" around here generally go for the 1G or 2G Eclipses when they modify Mitsubishi's, and I have seen the (very very very) rare 3000GT as well. I would think the relative lack of Evo's among import fans around here would be attributed to their comparatively short life in the states and a foreboding price tag generally around $20,000. But that wouldn't explain all the 18 year olds I see buzzing around in newer Subbies. |

I don't see many Suzukis 'round here, tho Vitaras aren't all that rare. I've also never seen more than perhaps a few Renos, which I rather like the styling of.
BTW-anyone seen any Smarts yet?

saw a STi just last week... Evos are little more rare around here. Of course AWD cars are fairly popular for winter reasons and I wouldn't mind owning one myself. |

Don't see many newer Eclipses. 3000gt's are not that rare here, there's currently 2 near me on autotrader. I see Evo's every now and then.
Haven't seen many new Imprezas on the road yet, tho.

Suzukis and Subarus are a plague here.. Mitsus are also a common sight, but the only Evos here are the new ones.. and I sat in 2 of them. |

I actually saw a silver, fart-piped WRX yesterday while gassing up just outside of town. Not surprisingly, it had out of state (Ohio) tags. |
