I've said to a few people that the Mercury Grand Marquis exists for people that want to buy a brand-new, factory-fresh, 1978 Ford Granada.

Pretty damn small inside for a full-size car.

As a 56 year old, I'm only nine years away from being offended by that, you darn whippersnappers!

#10, good highway cruisers - I test drove one from the dealer once. Definitely a little underpowered, squishy, etc - but quite comfortable for someone of my height. I'm seriously thinking of an ex-cop car crown-vic for my next ride. Sure, it not an import or even that fast - but it could scare the crap out of some of the awful drivers here :p

Dirf: I've been on the internets since the days of Archie and Veronica. And even before that, I was out there with a mighty 300 baud modem running up my phone bill talking on bulletin boards and the late, unlamented National Videotex Network, which sounds a lot more impressive than it really was.

kstagger: I think I've been the resident codger for several years now.

#13, I was pretty much joking, because my father's nearing 60, and his whole career has been computer coding and programming since the early '60s... so he's been on the internet since pretty much before I was born.

I'd drive it. It would fit my driving style perfectly, I'm sliding towards cruising (or granny driving if you prefer). And it could haul a trailer with my track/rally car too I imagine.
