Did you see what I was talking about in #7? It was a Stratus, and the door panels had literally melted and fallen out of the frames.

There's an article in the new Sport Compact Car - how to improve your e.t. by 2 seconds without spending any money. It basically involved taking a Sawzall and removing everything except the engine.

not sure, i know before i went on vacation one of the belts broke and another was almost gone, we havent got around to anyting else yet cause were to lazy

#18: It was a joke article, of course. They removed all the body panels, cut off the rear-end right behind the tires, cut off the roof ("Chicks dig convertibles"), replace the rear tires with spares, and removed every non-essential piece of equipment (including the exhaust pipes).
The end result looked worse than a theft recovery, and still only ran 14s (IIRC).
