#1, Dude the GT 2nd gen wasn't THAT bad.
The sad thing is this was supposed to replace a GREAT sports car.
The Probe was designed to replace the Mustang, which isn't really a sports car per se.

heh, once I was heading up north once with a bunch of my buddies. We were in a 4.3L blazer, just cruising when we get passed by a Probe GT. Driver slows down, lets us pass him and he gives us a dirty look with his buddy in the car. He accelerates hard past us again and bam! a bunch of black smoke starts shooting out his tail pipe. His car starts to slow down majorly and we all pointed and laughed as we drove by... we saw him pull over - lol.

I've tried both generation Probe GTs and they were tons of fun. The 1st gen had some torque steer problems though and the 2nd gen wasn't extremely reliable, but the sound the V6 made was incredible plus it handled beautifullly.

I drove one once. It wasn't in good condition with wires hanging from the dash.
I never rode that low to the ground on the highway in my life. Talkin millimeters.
