wipe off the lens with a swab. you can use alcohol.

Mine bit the big one a few months ago, I've tried unsuccessfully to repair it. I miss GT4 and God Of War, but not enough to justify spending $120 on a system I probably won't use very much what with all the games out for the Xbox 360.

#2, and to fix the exploding gas tank on ford crown vics, all you have to do is remove it and replace it with a stronger unit.
same thing - when one buys a product, the consumer shouldn't have to fix something that's a recurring problem or faulty to begin with.
i've done it twice. don't feel like doing it anymore.
