I like it alot, just wondering why GM made them wouldn't a 2 door caprice be the same idea as a monte carlo of the same era.

#1, yep. I like these more though. Alot more. Too bad blingtards are now making "da good as bizzox" hard to find just like Monte SSs.

Someone at the autozone near work owns a primer black late-70s caprice sedan that's kind of beat up with a loud ass muffler, been meaning to get pics of it, but I seem to only see it on days I'm working.

A guy I knew in high school had a fairly clean maroon one of these....he took out the LG4 305 and stuffed in a 350 from a junked '68 Impala, popped off the hubcaps, then tore ass all over these backroads listening to Bob Seger at about 150 decibels.
He finally slung a rod through the block after overrevving while attempting to throw the car into reverse at 50 mph. IIRC, the stuffed the 305 back in it, sold it, and bought an S13 240SX hatch that he treated more or less the same way.
