Description:
Suzuki Alto with me as a co-driver.
550cc 3-cylinder, 33hp and 540kg. Still, made me scream like a girl a couple of times.

This photo was made before we hit a curb while going sideways and later visited some bushes (a couple of times) only to finally find a tree.

Sounds like you did a bang-up job as co-driver, then.

*runs*

#4, Well, isn't it the co-driver's job to help the driver *avoid* crashing into things? :P

#5, It is. However, when the driver tries too hard, confuses haste with speed (I was amazed how many fucking useless things he did on corner entry*), has no idea about car balance and co-drove a guy with cross-drilled Brembos... you get this. The stage was run 3 times, we backed up 3 times, visited the scenery 2 times and had close enounters ith curbs/debris a couple of times.

* My procedure. Squeeze the brake with good distance to go, feeling the grip but most importantly, letting the car's front 'load up'. Downshift, hand back on the wheel. I plan the line if I didn't earlier. Gently steer the car into the corner, come off the brakes as necessary, shifting the load to the side. As soon as possible, neutral throttle, squeezing it to the floor as I near the exit, never letting go.
His procedure. Hit the brakes. Jump off the brakes. Downshift. Keep the hand hanging around the shifter/handbrake. Jerk the wheel. Slam on the gas just as the car begins to turn. Break out hammer and duct tape
