They can put all the power and technology they want to into these things, but the simple fact remains that putting the drivewheels at the back would make these cars go a lot faster.

Why do people insist on battling the law of physics with FWD drag racers? It's like trying to leave Earth's gravitational pull by jumping as hard as you can.

If you're going to spend the thousands of dollars buying, gutting, caging and installing a monstrous turbo into a Civic then why can't you change the drive-train to the rear wheels? There's also the fact you can't fit any kind of front clip onto a configuration like that without hampering the view. I saw some dumbass tuner show a few years back where they did the same thing with an Eclipse.

#7, That's a good question, maybe they just drop it off on one side of the track and pick it up on the other. I also don't like how that piping is so close to the rubber of the wheels.
