Description:
BMW E36 318is Class II, 2 out of 2500.
The Class II was a homologation special, basically a 4 door is with race aero parts (used also on M3 GT). The rear wing was adjustable (spacers, gurney flaps), the front bumper came with a stowed away unadjustable front splitter (M3 GT's splitter was adjustable but basically the same). The car in front has the splitter mounted.

Funny thing is, some owners don't know about the splitter, they think it's just a regular M3 bumper. Some even go as far as purchasing the splitters only to to find the original one while trying to mount the one they bought.

Oh this is just perfect for me right now - an M3 with good MPG.

#3, Yeah, especially since I don't imagine a BMW Motorsport splitter (or anything else) to be cheap or that easy to get. On the other hand, the original splitter is quite often damaged by curbs etc. even when stowed.
