While I admire their dedication to the fantastic sport of football I must mock their team of choice. It is the way of things

It's the perfect car for a Vikings fan, it's past it's prime, and rust is starting to eat away at the joints..... Just like Brett Favre

#6, he''s not playing anymore, so your "joke" is invalid. I still don't like the Vikes though. Honestly, I don't really like sports in general, so.

Technically nobody is playing now, unless they end the lockout. Jokes about the Funslinger are always welcome.
I honestly thought he was going to die in that last game against the Bears though. I guess one could argue that's when his career died.

Am I the only one who really doesn't care whether the NFL plays at all?

Statistically? No. Is that a minority opinion? Yes.
I don't care if the goddamn Raiders or Broncos play again though :argh:

#8, As far as I'm concerned, his career died when he quit the Packers. I am just sick of switchers who hated Favre now automatically loving him and vice versa.

Favre loves the attention though, it's what sustains him
e: and he didn't quit, he was traded. and it was for the best.

"On January 2, 2011, Favre was unable to play against the Detroit Lions in the final game of the regular NFL season due to his inability to pass NFL-mandated post-concussion tests. In a press conference immediately following the game, Favre announced his intention to retire from professional football.

On January 17, 2011, Favre officially filed his retirement papers with the NFL."

Wikipedia said it, it must be true~ :P
