Story:
"crazy ****ing night....so my girlfriend had a kickback last night at her house. an hour after i arrive a kid in a brand new 08 m3 shows up...car doesnt even have 1000 miles on it yet...so me and 2 others decide to go for a little ride in it...car was ridiculously loud and fast....so we go up and down a hill a few times to warm the car up...then the genius decides to put it in M mode....he floores it up the hill...****ing fastest **** ever...then he loses control...hopes a curb...car turns sideways...and we end up in someones front yard...everyone walked out though thank god...i think my thumb is broken and i have a bruise on my collar bone from the seat belt. BMW crash system was amazing...i dont know how anyone could survive that we were probably going 60 mph...." |

#4, As much as I agree, what can we do? It's not like the lawmakers could make dealerships administer a competency test to yuppies wanting to hop into some high powered Kraut-mobile. Money talks these days, and rich parents don't seem to care about their kids' safety as much as they do their popularity. And it's just the same as any wealthy person, young or old, in the market for something with "M" or "GTR" or "911" in the nameplate.

#5, Agreed. There might be a glimmer of hope, as many manufacturers/dealerships offer advanced driving course packages with their cars. Even in Poland we've got them (probably the most known is Subaru Driving School). |

it's dumbasses like this that make my insurance as high as it is.
i'm a 20 year old male who is VERY responsible with my driving. i have never had a ticket or an accident (except a rear ending that wasn't my fault) and it's motherfuckers like this that ruin the hobby for me. just pisses me off. |
