Got several ones where I'm at. Why get police cars that look like an upset boar? Kinda fits the cops = pigs line. Probably real cool to drive as opposed to the crown vic.

#1, crown vics are cooler and better looking vehicles than these rejects.

#2, I will grant you cooler as police cars and better looking. Also CV has less blindspots and looks better in police livery

Chargers are generally tougher and pretty much just as safe as Crown Vics, even if the build quality is a bit spotty.

The only reason the Crown Vic is still so popular is because it has a cavernous trunk, and a lot of police agencies are extremely adverse to change.

It is much more expensive than an Impala 9C1 or V6 police package Charger, having a V8 doesn't actually give it a power advantage over the other two, its backseat is incredibly cramped for a vehicle its size, and its basic platform is unbelievably outdated.

But you can cram a ginormous amount of shotguns, gear, vests, and other equipment underneath the decklid, much more than the other two... and for some reason, that's really important to a lot of police agencies... that, and, "Well, we've been buying this car from Ford for 28 years, why change now?"
