This horrifying crustacean is known as the "coconut crab", because I guess the term "Insanity-causing, pants-shittingly huge monster crabs" was taken. They have claws that can crack coconuts and have a penchant for stealing anything shiny objects like silverware. Also, they gather food at night which means if you live on their turf you run the risk of running into one of these things rifling through your kitchen at midnight. Oh, and they have working noses too, so they can actually smell fear.

omG.

That thing looks like it eats dogs.

"The coconut crab is eaten by the Pacific islanders, and is considered a delicacy and an aphrodisiac, with a taste similar to lobster and crab meat. "
