Looks like something you'd go to the doctor to have cut off.

And it's still not even remotely cool.

#3, what do you expect from a Prius?

If I had a Prius and $184,000, I think I'd sell the Prius for $20,000, spend about $190,000 on a 1968-1969 Ferrari 365 GTC, then spend the remaining $14,000 on a nice used daily driver. Maybe a decent 1967 Chevrolet Impala fastback, with a fuel-injected small block and overdrive.

I wonder what all that weight and aerodynamic drag has done for the fuel efficiency... I wouldn't be surprised to hear that they're not getting around 30-35mpg, if not less.

Did they even do any performance mods? Probably not. How the hell do you mod a Hybrid Synergy Drive anyway? All the extra weight of unnecessary crap in that car (TVs, speakers, etc) undoubtedly makes it slower and less fuel efficient. The only performance-related mod I noticed was upgraded brakes. I've logged several hours in my grandma's Prius and have found that the stock Regenerative Braking in that car not only stops it far quicker from speed than anything else I've ever been in, but creates very little wear on the brake pads and shoes. Who needs the upgraded brakes except for the eye candy factor? If it can't outrun the ugly, it probably can't outstop the ugly either.

Okay, so it takes almost $200,000 to make a Prius look cool*? The only thing these asshats proved was that they can waste massive amounts of money! What was the point of this?

*MTV's definition of "cool", which is so far removed from the original version it might as well be a completely different word.

For 200k you probably could drop a Celica GT4 drivetrain into a Prius and actually make it go fast-ish.

#10, For $200k you probably could drop a Prius body shell on a modified Formula 1 platform and actually make it go like... something very quick and very scary. :D

#11, I don't know. But motorsport stuff is fucking expensive, 2 years ago the cost of building building a top spec group N Evo IX was around 200k.
