Ford, GM, and Chrysler (possibly some others) all produced these from the 1920s into the early '40s. They're called "screensides" or "canopies," and were a cross between a pickup and a panel. They were very popular with tradesmen and produce farmers, but not with light-duty truck buyers. As such most of them were worked to death and few are still around.
They're very collectible today, especially if they wear "Dodge," "Plymouth," or "Fargo" badging. |
