Would not surprsie me if it used to be a simple silver racecar that was repainted BRG to either be resold, or the owner decided to be generic with a vintage British sports car.

#2, I don`t know if `number 48` was a big deal or something. A lot of WWII planes are restored to look like a famous planes rather the true version of that plane.

#1, Occasionally DVLA just flat-out gets the color wrong, as well. That's actually the second green Jaguar I've seen listered as "SILVER."
