Ah yes. The almighty Toyota Potato. I always kinda liked these, actually, but that's more of a side-effect from my generally liking the Tercels of this era anyway. You're right about the tC allusion... they're very similarly focused... economical subcompacts with somewhat-stylish/sporty bodies. [Edited by DiRF on 10-23-2008 @ 08:39:29 PM]

#5, My folks had a 2-door Tercel as a rental once when I was a young whippersnapper in elementary school. I hated it even then. Crappy little seafoam green POS with steel wheels.

#5, My like derives from the aesthetics. Many subcompact econoboxes look like horrid little cheapmobiles, but I always thought the Tercel, in comparison, had a really nice look to it.
