This was AFTER I tried to color-correct it. The original photos were much redder even than this.

#4, I imagine something to tow it with... to be towed behind a larger vehicle. I know a lot of RV owners back then, and some still today, flat-tow Jeeps behind as little runabouts for whenever they set-up camp.

There's a house in town that has or had at least (haven't been by that way in quite a few years) some giant motorhome and a Geo Tracker, similar situation, I bet.

#6, It's actually relatively common amongst RVs in America... I guess I never realized that people in Eastern Europe don't tow cars behind RVs like that.

#10, The Saturn SLs are actually one of the few non-truck cars that can be flat-towed no problem, from what I understand.

#12, Someone did tell me that Saturn intended that feature to be part of the car, so it isn't just a coincidence... they saw an underserved niche (RV owners who'd rather have a car than a truck as a runabout), and decided to fill it.

Wasn't it Suzuki or somebody who engineered their cars so that the odometer doesn't record mileage when the vehicle is being towed?
