Dammit, I thought this whole "rat rod" fad would have died by now. Entirely too many people are wasting vintage tin on these hideous, unstreetable piles of garbage. |

Traditional jalopies or works in progress are cool, but this crap with leaving the rust and old paint on them and calling it "natural patina," and worse still, painting on detailed pinstriping and fake speed shop logos on their doors, when they don't even have a frigging paint job. What is that all about? They're too lazy to actually finish the car, so they turn it into some sort of badge of honor?
And cutting the cars to absurd, ugly, or just impractical proportions....it's just stupid. A lot of these guys labor under the misapprehension that their cars are "traditional." Sorry kiddies, it wasn't done this way. Ever. |
