On some roads, she does, in fact, drive faster than I do. I tend to take corners at a faster speed than she does, though.

Reminds me of a picture I saw of a SEAT Cordoba

I'm kind of surprised Suzuki can still afford to even sell cars in the US, let alone finance and run a WRC program. But I also tend to forget that Suzuki vehicles are pretty popular outside of the US, not to mention their bikes and various other divisions.

#4, Suzuki is the third most popular car brand in Japan, don't forget... they actually sell more cars there than Honda does.

Suzuki absolutely dominates the kei-car class, which has steadily become the most popular car segment in the Japanese-market.

#5, I knew Suzuki was bigger in Japan than Honda, but they're a pretty rare sight in the US these days. Honda seems much more focused on the European and North American markets, and who can blame them? They sell over 350,000 bland, soulless US-market Accords every year to bland, soulless people and roughly the same number of Civics according to some sales statistics I read a couple days ago.

#6, I still think Bob Lutz was right... we should look at suspending our unique safety regulations in the US for all vehicles that acheive at least 35mpg, as long as they meet similarly stringent EuroNCAP safety standards... that way, Suzuki could easily bring over stuff like the Swift and Splash to sell in America.

#4, Scratch the WRC programme off the list. Suzuki have pulled out due to the financial situation. Also a rather larger player has left... you'd be shocked to find out who...

From what I heard Suzuki Sport Europe won't fold, which means the Swift S1600 program will go on. As for the SX4 the idea was to build a 'small WRC', something that would resemble the new S2000+ class that will replace the WRCs. Basically those would be S2000 cars with special + kit, main part of which would be a turbo kit that would give extra 50hp or so.
