I don't see many '79s. The only one I actually remember off the top of my head was a staff car for the Lauderdale County public school system when I was in 3rd-4th grade. It was a white 4 door, and was always pretty clean. They also had a similar Ford LTD-S of the same vintage, but in sky blue. Also clean.
Fleet maintenence, I suppose. That or they were nice used cars that had only entered service a little while prior.
