'64 is pretty much tied with '59 in my mind as the best-looking year for the Galaxie. In fact, I almost bought a red two-door '64 Galaxie instead of my Rambler, but I was outbid on Ebay.

This one deserves to be fixed up. I wonder how bad the tinworms have gotten to it.

#1, eh... I woudn't go near it if I were you. This thing has been sitting in a yard for the past 10 or so years. Since I was in 6th grade. I doubt underside is in good condition, for two reasons, since it's been sitting for a huge amount of time, and the yard where it was stored is at the bottom of a hill which becomes a pond in heavy storms.

#2, Probably a good parts car, at least. The grille and front bumper both look pretty good, and the hood and driver's door look usable (although I'd check the drain plugs on the underside of the latter).

#3, it's pretty decent, apart from the floor (which is damn near gone behind the front seats), and the trim is a tad sunfaded. The interior is nice, too with the trim intact. It would be a good car if it had a floor, and if it had a decent resto.

I love '63-65 Galaxies. This one's pretty rough, though.

I'd really like to have a '63-'64 "Country Sedan" wagon.
