Description:
Audi 2009 DTM car.

I had no gripes with the previous model, the R14, but this one makes my eyes water: specifically the big trench-like tunnel extending from under the car and going over the rear wheels on the side.

Mercedes cars also had some work done in the same area but it's merely an indention, a dimple compared to this.

#2, Opel called it quits in 2006 I think. Since then it's only Mercedes and Audi. There's some pressure to introduce at least one other manufacturer (TV rights deal or something) and it seems each year there are some unusual rumors, like this year Citroen was to join, Lexus built a DTM-like prototype, but that went to GT300, etc... one thing is sure, BMW has no plans to join: they prefer racing series' that have more in common with road cars than DTM has (basically just roof and lights). But with WTCC shitstorm and BTCC 2011 ban on RWD cars... who knows?
