It's probably been 15 or 20 years since I've seen a Mustang II in that condition.

It's been about 10 years since I saw one in ANY condition, (local junkyard had a bunch, and also several Mavericks, they've since been cubed and shipped down the tracks)

I still see 'em around, but they're just about always derelict in somebody's yard.

A local guy did have a nice white Mustang II Cobra with Centerline wheels on it, but he killed his wife and himself about two years ago and I haven't seen the car since....sold to or inherited by someone outside the area, I assume.

#5, Come to think of it, that yard had a lot of stuff that was pretty much extinct on the road well into the late 90's, aside from Pintostangs and Mavericks there were several 70's Comets, tons of AMC Eagles, at least 6 International Scout II's, a 77' T-bird Coupe, an AMC Rebel, a Fury III ragtop, a 77' Trans Am, an ancient straight-eight Buick, a suicide-door Continental and a 70's Dodge Magnum. That was a cool place, I miss it, they closed it years ago because it turned out that the guy had accidentally encroached on adjoining propery lots AND the Norfolk Southern Railroad's property, and by the time the fines were paid and vehicles removed, the old coot who owned it was broke and died the next year....
