#2, If I hadn't included that in the description, I'm sure it wouldn't have gotten those votes. When I first saw this pic, I didn't believe they were 20s either, then again, this new gen accord has MASSIVE wheelwells and could likely fit 24s(on 25 series tires) with little modification(though I certainly wouldn't want to see it)

The taller and more slab-sided a car's body is, the smaller the wheels will look.

Look at the 2nd-gen Dodge Neon and smart car... they're small cars, but even large wheels look puny on them... but you look at a Corvette, and the 17-19" wheels look massive.

#5, I do have to say, your generation of Accord was the last where they were still relatively low-slung, and rather handsome, sedans.

#4, Must be why W-bodies look absolutely horrid on large rims, especially when you get up to 24s on a late-model Regal with its jellybean body made for 16s.

#7, 18s at MOST. MAAAAAAAYBE 19s, but 17s/18s on a newer FWD car is good. What's sad is the 18s on my moms Mini look small/about right for the wheel wells but 18s on a Vibe seem OMG HUGE.

The wheels don't look horrible. Everything else does.

#8, Why would you need 18 inch wheels for a 160hp car?
