Description:
Willys? Ford? When I was in the Philippines in 2000 a saw ONE of these. I guess there's a restoration club running 9 years later, saw 5 of them in just one area.
It's amazing to see how an increase in disposable income changes people hobbies. |

It's an old M151 for sure, so any one of a couple contractors could have built it since they all follow a standard design. Like the deuce, the majority were manufactured by Jeep, but AM General, Kaiser, and even International Harvester built a few. You might be surprised to learn that Checker Cab also did some contract work, though mostly they just built the trailers for these.
