Description:
This car was on fire when I first walked into the parking lot. I went around the lot and came back to it, and it looked like this. I didn't dare go back a third time.

Nice to see someone fixing up a '57-'58 Plymouth. There aren't nearly enough of these still around.

#4, Unfortunately most of them is are becoming Christine clones.

#5, Is there something wrong with trying to make an old car look stock? At least it's better than tons of late '60s Chargers being painted orange with flags and numbers on them...

#6, I thought the Christine color scheme was custom ('factory custom', but still), not stock?

#7, Custom for a Fury, yes... but the bright red / white scheme was readily available on the Belvedere... which is what the cars in the movie actually were, with "Fury" badges slapped on 'em...

#6, Not really, but people should at least be original. I'd like to see one fixed up in a nice Sapphire blue, for a change.

#6, I'm sorry did I say that somewhere in my post? No. Besides I doubt all of the belvederes got painted red and white. I don't get the double standard. Its ok to paint all 57-58 plymouth Belvederes red and white because they came in that color, but its not ok to paint a 69 Charger Orange because everyone does it and its not a factory color.

I don't mean people just painting Chargers orange... I mean painting them orange, bolting on brushbars, and putting Confederate flags and numbers on them...

...plus, without Dukes of Hazzard, people would still be saving Chargers no matter what... but I doubt as many '57-58 Plymouths would have been saved if not for Christine... Plymouth was the entry-level brand... I bet if Christine would have been a DeSoto, many, many more DeSotos would have been saved.
