Description:
The new Delta.
It might be viewed as a travesty but the fact is Lancia is by now firmly a luxury division of Fiat. And the car itself? Having sat in one and having seen a few on the road... I think it's absolutely striking. One of the few modern cars I'd like to own. Can't decide if I like black/ivory or black/gray combination more, though.

That's the new Lancia Delta?

Give me the one that was designed with a slide rule.

Looks more deserving of a Ssangyong badge than Lancia.

#1, Uh, the chief of Lancia has recently also been made the chief of Chrysler, with the intention of the two brands sharing their entire ranges around the world... this may be wearing a Chrysler badge in a few years in North America...

#2, You can thank Giorgetto Giugiaro for that one... and tons of other vehicles :D (including my dad's old '90 Monaco and my mom's SX4)

Ouch. No one likes the cars I do. First 407 Coupe, now this. I shall now go to my quiet place to cry and beat off.

#8, Sizewise, it's probably closer to the PT Cruiser... which is, indeed, in dire need of replacement.

...it's heavily rumored that the next Lancia Thesis sedan will essentially be a rebadged 2nd-generation 300C.

#9, 300C? They're going to give the Thesis a V8? This should be interesting.

#12, I'm trying to recall ANY interesting engines in the Fiat range nowadays... Fiat 2l 5cyl turbo is gone, Alfa 2l V6 turbo as well... there's the 200hp JTDm diesel, but I guess US isn't really interested in such engines... Fiat 1.4l turbo is too small... guess you're going to be left with Alfa quad cam V6s. Could be worse.

#13, Quad cam V6's, what's bad about that?

I mean, it's a quad cam V6!
