VW bus that sat at the bottom of a Norwegian lake since 1974. Currently undergoing restoration.

Apparently the owner just shoved it into the lake because the gearbox broke and he couldn't afford to fix it.

The bus is running and driving at the moment, but the bodywork is still beat. Naturally, the VW fans are all trying to convince the owner to not restore the body in order to maintain the "natural patina." >_<

Luckily, the guy is not listening to them, and the last update (as of January of this year) is that he does intend to completely restore it.
