Piece of useless trivia: it seems it's impossible to 'corner too fast' in a ship. The hull design makes the ship lean outward in a turn but it will never flip as it looses speed fast during sharp turns. Also, the faster the ship is going, the faster and tighter it turns. So next time you want to swerve to avoid, say, an iceberg, you need to punch it and get max lock on that wheel ASAP, boiiiii.

#5, Also, the faster the ship is going, the faster and tighter it turns.

I learned that from the speed boats in the Grand Theft Auto games. :P

Another random piece of useless trivia... if the Titanic's crew hadn't noticed the iceberg as early as they did, and just plowed straight into it, the ship most likely would have remained afloat long enough for other ships in the area to come to the rescue of all the passengers...

It possibly could have remained afloat long enough for quick and dirty repairs to be done and for it to be towed to a port.

Random piece of useless trivia. My best friend lives on the USS Stennis. Boy howdy how I miss that guy. Id try to join the airforce or something but I have too many visable tattoos. Im proud of him though.

#7, I heard that theory. Some say the bow would just crumple, a few bottom sections would collapse but that would be it.

Another piece of useless trivia: seems due to different hull design, smaller things like boats actually lean inward while turning. Thank you, this program was sponsored by the letter N.
