D_o reunited with his Focus for probably the last time. It had apparently been sold by the Ford dealer earlier that day but not delivered yet.

That's kinda a new concept for me, seeing a former car of mine be driven by a new owner... I've been the last driver of my past two cars...

When I sold my Tahoe, the one guy who spoke english told me they were taking it to Mexico two months after they bought it. Doubt I'll be seeing that one again!

#1, When my dad sold his '89 Taurus in '94, we saw the car and the owners at the local mall about a year later. When he sold his '94 Taurus in '00 the next owner lived only a mile from us and drove the car for a while and then gave it to his daughter. It died around 2005 after being flogged and crashed by the girl for a few years. Our '85 Ranger went to my great-uncle in southern California who painted it white and used it as a work truck until he died. I think it got donated after that and we never saw it again.

#1, Whoops. Nevermind. Few months after trading in the G20 for the Sentra, saw the old G20 being driven by someone else... whoever resold it obviously spent some money giving the body and wheels a hefty buffering... looked pretty damn good... sure hope they did some mechanical work too, or I pity the person now driving that car.

Saw the Monte last time I was in Lawrence, and it has rimz on it and rust. Also saw my mom's old Mini not too long ago still with a wonky convertible roof. Oh well.
