I would just like to express my approval of Kia's current design direction... I think they've really nailed it... it's a style theme that can be adapted to different types of vehicles, and all of these vehicles I feel are extremely nice looking, for what they are. I even think Kia has actually got much better looking cars then its parent company Hyundai, whose own cars are actually more expensive.

Clockwise, from top left...

- Kia Sorento
- Kia Forte Koup
- Upcoming Kia Sportage
- Kia Soul
- Kia Forte sedan
- Kia Optima
- 2011 Kia Cadenza (KDM for now, most likely will replace the Amanti in the USDM soon)

I like the Forte Koup and sedan. The rest do nothing for me. :(

The Optima is the only one I really like.

The reason I approve of this design theme... other automakers tried doing a theme across their lineup... Subaru with that awful vagina-face grille, Acura with their awful Superman-shield, Chevrolet with their "have to let it grow on you" horizontal-split grille... but this design theme is relatively unoffensive, yet recognizable. It was very well-thought out.

...and like I said, I'm amazed that, even though Kia is essentially the "cheap" brand of Hyundai, they're producing cars that are aesthetically much more pleasing (and maybe a tad more interesting-looking) than Hyundai's current lineup...

For most of these I see nothing but Honda(pretty much how the current line SHOULD look, save for the CR-V)

Yes, much of Kia's current design theme does resemble Honda's front fascias... but that's where the similarities end, IMO... past the front fascias, Kias are taut and well-defined in their styling... Hondas have all started looking like droopy shoes.

Ok... wow... that is fucking hot, for a mundane midsize sedan... http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/01/...rk-2010-reveal/

#7, nearly 5 years on, it still looks good. The Cadenza (pictured here) looks like a Chrysler 200 before the redesign. Not sure if that's good or bad.
