And the fun part is, it's all powered by a 1.7L VW engine because it was originally intended to be propeller-driven and that failed catastrophically so a more conventional solution was required.

Best part? They built THREE of these.



And I was wrong, the original prototype was VW-powered, but the three "pre-production pilot cars" have 1.7L Renault engines.
