Even though the styling is kinda a mess... lines criss-crossing and start-stopping everywhere throughout the aesthetics, I still friggin' love these things... and actually, the clunky styling, as a whole, works visually, in my opinion.

#1, I agree wholeheartedly. I've been wanting one in blue. I used to see one around here in a cerulean color that looked AMAZING. :)

It should be noted that, like most Mitsubishis, this one was broken down on the side of the road.

#3, Not surprising... as I've said before, Mitsubishi is the American Motors of the Japanese manufacturers... smaller, quirkier, poorly-managed, and tons of quality problems...

#4, *Gets angry*

Granted, I have not experienced AMC vehicles from the 1970s, apart from some brief time with a 1977 Hornet AMX that I very nearly purchased. Even it seemed to be of higher quality than most '70s compacts (the Datsun B210 springs to mind).

#4, I'm amused that they are so closely linked by the fact that Chrysler invested in both companies. And that both Mitsubishi and American Motors built Jeeps for a time.
