Heh, the Dodge emblem is just peaking out from behind the loading ramp... you know, if the guy was going to invest money in a new grille and hood to "convert" it into a Mercedes, he could have at least also sprung for the new badges on the back.

I don't know why anyone bothers. A Mercedes emblem on a cargo van isn't suddenly going to make it prestigious.

#2, My mother, who grew up in France... when she came to America, she was amused by people who thought that Mercedes was a prestigious brand...

...growing up in France, many taxis were Mercedes-Benzes, and she went to school on a Mercedes bus.

#3, It's considered a prestige brand here, simply because the models they sell here are always the most well-appointed versions, and come standard with all the stuff Europeans get optional.

Hell, the Euros can get Mercedes cars with cloth seats....
