There's something almost classic now about a lowrider on small wire wheels... as long as it doesn't have a stupid disco paintjob with thousands of pinstripes going everywhere...

I don't like the pinstripping but it is suttle.

The color is very nice though.

Yeah, color is nice. I might be taking my totaled 72 on a Cannonball Run at the end of the month. Should be fun!

#3, That's why I said "thousands" in regards to *annoying* pinstriping...

The pinstriping here is actually nice in its subtlety...

#4, Sell Archie to a team planning on a 24 Hours of Lemons race... remember, they have to buy it for less than $500 :P

#6, Hehe. No way. Then I'd have to change my site to UsedToRun.com or DidStillRuns.com or something. Can't wait for this Cannonball event. The only accident damage that I need to fix is to bend the fuel tank a little to allow gas cap removal (already done. it took a pair of vice grips and a whopping 1 minute of work). And I need to get the brake lights, blinkers and tail lights working again. That might be tricky. Normally, you would drop the bumper to gain access to the tail light and harness. But the last time the car was totaled, 20 years earlier, I had the frame welded up a little to give it some strength, and now I can't just drop the bumper unless I grind off those welds, which would mean more welding. What I might do is cut away the back wall of the trunk to access the lights, then duct tape an access panel on there in case it gets totaled a 3rd time, another 20 years and 287,000 miles down the road.
