From the initial numbers I read, I was expecting it to be a diesel. But damn....1011 horsepower, and over 1000 ft. lbs. of torque, on pump gas?
I've heard of LS1s making over 1000 hp on pump gas, but not with that much torque and not in nearly stock-looking pickups. Talk about a sleeper.

#1, this has been the subject of many a Hot Rod/PHR magazine articles. I remember when this was just breaking 12s.
