On the one hand the responses people come up with on this site are really funny, but on the other hand it also shows the level of douche which a lot of people maintain.

#7, I never even said close to that. Good lord. For example. Your saying you love the word "nigger". Now, that would seem funny until you go out and actually accidentally say "nigger" and someone overhears you. Actually wait. The reason I said don't post at all, is because half the time, the "funnies" are sometimes worse than mcmunkees. I seem to remember a lot of people jumping on him for calling something "gay", yet when you post it, it's somehow okay? Double standards I say.

#9, 1. Never said anything close to what? That I shouldn't post it because it offends you? I'm saying that anything could illicit a negative response from someone. Most of the best humor is generally offensive to someone. That's why humor is subjective.
2. The "nigger" thing. I copped once to admitting that I find the word itself (when removed from context and definition) amusing. That doesn't mean I condone the usage of the word to belittle any group of people. Either way, it has no bearing on the subject.
3. The only thing I posted here is an ignorant question that someone asked on Yahoo Answers, and a smartassed reply, which I assume is to be taken sarcastically. I also linked to another, even more ignorant (possibly a troll) poster, who post a question about dwarfs having night vision.
Either way, neither were posts made by me and do not reflect any of my personal beliefs, unlike what mcmunkee used to post. How exactly is that a double standard?

#10, I was under the impression that it was your personal belief since you posted it, and labeled it as funny. I don't know (obviously), so I had no reason not to assume this wasn't your beliefs. Yeah, the midget is "funny", but it's also extremely stupid, as I am considered a "midget" by 90% of the population, including the assholes who taught at my college.

#11, It's safe to assume by the fact that I'm calling it funny that they aren't my beliefs. If I took these ideas seriously, I wouldn't be laughing at them.
I get the midget thing hitting close to home, but I take on a bit of a Carlin-esque, anti-humanist stance on it: As a species, we're fundamentally fucked. Sometimes it's best not to take the ignorance of others too seriously, and learn to belittle it instead of revile it. As such, the idea that someone might to be ignorant enough to think midgets have natural night vision is hilarious, at least to me.
