Description:
DiRFmobile MkV.

2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8SE... nicely optioned, the thing that really gets me going is the factory-installed 300W Rockford Fosgate stereo system with subwoofer in the trunk. Has 51,000 miles on, and it feels SOOOO solid...

...the G20 might have been more refined, but the Sentra just *feels* in immensely better condition.

The sound? On the way home from the dealership, I heard three songs... Tik-Tok by Ke$ha, Don't Stop Believing by Journey, and Glitter in the Air by Pink... had all three cranked up when they were playing, and the sound was AWESOME...

I'm also happy that the stereo has an auxiliary input jack, so I can use my mp3 player! Yeah, I had used the player in the G20, but that was with an FM modulator that really, REALLY sucked.

#2, Thats one of the good things about these sentras, even the 01s had AUX jacks if im right. Meanwhile my maxima had nothing of the sort

#2, Nice! Congrats, although I'm not too big of a 'Tik Tok' fan.

I *will* say, after driving a base-model '06 Corolla and an '06 Elantra that were going for about the same price, this car is much, MUCH nicer on the inside than those two.

#7, Well, I should say so. I wouldn't be caught dead driving a base-model '06 Corolla.

And the reason why this car "feels" in better condition is because it's more than 10 years newer...

But hey, all derogatory comments of ours aside, it's your car. If you like it and enjoy it, that's all that really matters. Just prepare for a little ribbing now and then. :3

#8, I'll just crank the monster stereo to the point where I can't hear you ridiculing the car :P

...I also have to wonder what Jurrell would have to say about my new car, if he still posted here on a regular basis...

Considering some aftermarket aesthetic parts...

darker SE-R-style headlights http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...em=270559554366
darker-taillights http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...em=310217483822

...I *really* want to replace the front grille, too, but the only option is billet, and I *HATE* BILLET!

#10, I like those headlights, but the taillights are a bit too "Altezza-ish."

I suggest simply "niteshading" your taillights

Well, let's chalk this up to teething problems... noticed that one of the foglights was burned out, and the car started cranking really slowly at startup... took it to Advance Auto, found that the battery was a cheapo generic-brand with only 480CCA, when the car requires 640CCA... got a good goldtop battery with the proper CCA rating, and the guy at Adavance installed it quick and free... he even didn't mind installing the new foglights bulbs I had bought, also. :D

Driving the car around... getting settled to how it drives and handles, I'm REALLY starting to like it!

Though, granted, two days ago, stuck in traffic at a red light, I counted three *other* beige 2004-2006 Sentras with spoilers... that was rather demoralizing... visually, this is the first really "anonymous" vehicle I've driven on a regular basis...

#14, I see a lot of silver 2005-07 Focus sedans with spoilers and alloy wheels... all the more reason to get my 6K running again, or even the Regal (Twilight Blue Metallic is apparently an uber-rare color on Regals, at least without the grey lower-body accent).

So, I was already aware of the first-gen Mitsuoka Ryoga, since it was a modified P11-gen Primera/G20... I completely forgot that the second-gen RyogaII was a modified B15-gen Nissan Sunny, which is what my Sentra is based on... http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/ryoga-ii.jpg

I guess I never posted a pic of the front of it, eh?

http://photo.ricecop.com/pics/dirfmobileb15.jpg I'll reiterate... I *hate* the front grille.

#19, I'd prefer an aesthetically-odd OEM panel rather than a smashed one...
