It's nice, but for some reason, I think those scoops on the front deck look sort of....gross. |

I would tend to agree about the air extractors on the front deck, but I've seen photos of an earlier concept with smaller ones, and they just don't fit the car. Too refined looking, somehow. Anyway, Ford's current stance on this car is, and I quote, "It's a concept car, but it isn't a dream car." Meaning that there's actually a decent chance that this might see production. Quick, everybody, tell Ford we hate it so that it'll get built! |

those aren't scoops. the engine's in the back. the radiator's up there. the "scoops" improve cooling.
(edit) Same principle as the shelby series 1 "scoops"

Yeah, they're not ram-air or anything (jeez, you couldn't fit a ricer motor in the front end of this, let alone a blown V8. They're air extractors (NACA ducts) to pull air onto the radiator and cool the engine. |

That's almost exactly what the original GT40 front end looked like, Mike. |

can they make it so that tall people can actually fit into it? The origional GT40s had a height restriction of like 5'4 |

Well, it's two feet longer and four inches higher than the original... should be significantly bigger on the inside. They'll probably lay the seats back more than on the original, too. |

Nah, the lengthening and laying back the seats should improve the height limit more than that. |
