'70. Note the front wheelwells. the old 429 lump was so heavy that the lips on the wheelwells had to be rolled for clearance.

i read in a mag once where i guy took out the factory 429 and had the NASCAR spec engine but in, no thats just all out badass

as if a boss 429 wasn't enough. For those who don't know, a Boss 429 (like a Boss 302) is a 429 with HEMI HEADS!!!!!!!

Boss 429s didn't have a stripe. That was the Boss 302.

#7, I've heard of that car, I believe the NASCAR 429 was installed by the dealer when the car was new. I'll bet that thing did some cooking back in the day.

OIC. Yes, the Boss 351s had stripes similar to the '71 Mach 1 but with a slightly different hood stripe.
