Seeing four of the seven airworthy P-38 Lightnings in the world flying in formation, and then two of those P-38s join up in formation with an F-22 Raptor: priceless.

The plane known as "Glacier Girl" is so named because it was rescued from a glacier in Greenland where it lay buried under nearly 300 feet of ice until 1992. The plane was restored over a ten-year period and returned to the sky in 2002.

#2, I saw Glacier Girl a few years ago. They flew in to Presque Isle Maine which is where the plane was stationed When it was lost. It was "escorted" by a P-51D. On a side note I never realized the side profile of the P-38 was so small, the P-51 looked huge next to it.
