My parents had a pea green '79 about 17 years ago....first year of this bodystyle. I kind of wish they'd never gotten rid of it.

#4, Same color, with the same vinyl top, but that one is an LTD-S model (single headlights on each side), whereas theirs was an LTD Crown Victoria, with a front more like the car above.

#6, actually i had a mercury lynx that fell apart after a month of driving it. next car i got was my 72 that i had for 23 years now as my daily driver. i just pick on fords for the fun of it. nothing against them really.

I haven't seen this car in a while now. Last I saw/heard, the engine and tranny were out and the front suspension was being gutted.
