Two years ago or maybe three i was at the michigan nascar race and my dad went into the pits and Richard Petty stepped on his foot, i kno that might sound gay but i thought it was cool.

Why, none other than Da Shotgun... good ol' Boss 429. Pay up. And yeah, I'll hail King Richard... but I still say David Pearson was NASCAR's best ever. Head-to-head, he owned Petty. He just didn't run full seasons during his peak years. But yeah, Petty was awesome. If we ever build that time machine we've talked about, I want to set up a race between 1990 Dale Earnhardt, 2002 Jeff Gordon, 1992 Alan Kulwicki, 1976 David Pearson, 1976 Richard Petty, 1995 Mark Martin, 1987 Bill Elliott, 1957 Fireball Roberts and 1962 Junior Johnson. Oh yeah, better throw in 1983 Cale Yarborough, just for fun. And maybe late-60s Mario Andretti.
