#1, In 1967, Carlo Abarth introduced the 1.0 liter engine and the Radiale (or Hemi) head for Group 5 racing in Europe. With the combination of 1000 cc's and the hemispherical head, it was the first push rod engine generating more than 100 horsepower.
I'm going to assume he means "the first FIAT pushrod engine." |
