It looks fantastic, but it's still $46,000 for a car that weighs over 2 tons with horsepower and torque peaking at around 470. The 2011 Shelby GT500 will only be about 4 grand more, and is quite a bit faster.
Given the weight disadvantage, Chrysler should really be using the 470 hp engine in the R/T and develop a 500+ hp engine for the STR8. They're still too heavy to handle well, but they at least might be able to gain straight-line superiority, and market the Challenger as a "cruiser's alternative" to the Camaro and Mustang.
