#2, Builders of '55 Chevys have discovered in recent years that when radiusing the rear wheel arches, the front wheel arches from Volvo 240s are a perfect fit. That definitely looks like what he's done here.

#4, According to a photo blurb in Car Craft, it's supposed to be a perfect template for a radiused '55 rear arch. Personally, I think it's quite suitable for this particular style of build, although I'm not too enamored of this style to begin with...I prefer street-styled cars, with more of their factory sheetmetal, trim, and proportions, which is I suppose an extension to being drawn to factory stock cars to begin with.
