Description:
Was looking at a new 300 a day or so ago, and it dawned on me, "Holy crap, that rear styling is a really nice retro touch!"

It's modern-looking, yet still subtly retro.

I think rear-fascia styling sometimes doesn't get enough attention from car companies... many times it just looks like a half-assed job... but when care is put into making the taillights and rear panel nice or interesting looking, I appreciate it from car designers :D

Interesting. I never made the connection before. Better resolved than the Taurus's "retro" rear end, that's for sure.

I am, overall, quite pleased by the refresh of the 300. I can't see a single angle of the car where it doesn't look better than it did before, which says a lot, because I liked the previous 300s, as well.
